The T24 Tugboat is a beautiful, classic wooden tug. Originally designed to place marks for model sailboat racing (can be paired with the barge and racing marks sold below), this tug is both practical and charming in its traditional design. Whether it is used as a work tug during races or as a cruising pleasure vessel, this tug is sure to delight! Everything is included in the kit to build the T24 Tug.

T24 Mark-Setting Barge

The Mark-Setting Barge is designed to be towed behind the T24 Classic Wooden Tug (above). Together with the Tug and racing marks (below), the barge allows for racing marks to be set as far out in the lake as you want, creating the perfect racing course. The retrieval line for each mark remains on shore, so the marks can be pulled back in to land after the racing is completed. The barge is very easy to build, and includes precut Okoume marine plywood parts, marine-grade epoxy, high-quality hardware, and a nylon tow line chord.

The Racing Marks are throwable (up to 30 yards) are can be carried along behind the T24 Classic Wooden Tug on the barge. The retrieval line for each mark stays on shore so the marks can be easily pulled in after racing. The marks have brightly colored flags of different colors, so it is easy to call out a course to sailors. The anchor weights and nylon anchor line allow for hassle-free mark setting. These marks are effective, festive, easy to use and are a great addition to any model boat regatta!
